Brockville – The City of Brockville has been monitoring the performance of the Brockville Water Pollution Control Centre (WPCC) and has determined the potential to re-rate the facility to increase the rated capacity without the construction of new facilities or the alternation of any additional facilities. The project is being planned to follow the Schedule B process in the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment.

Public, Indigenous community and stakeholder input and comment are invited, for incorporation into the planning and design of this project and will be received until August 17, 2024. Subject to the identification of a preferred plan to expand the water and wastewater systems, and the receipt of the necessary approvals, the proponent intends to proceed with the implementation of this project.
