Altercation Escalates Resulting in a Stabbing

Brockville – A 23-year-old Prescott man is in custody following a stabbing incident that occurred in the City’s south end Saturday evening.

On July 20, 2024, at about 8:30 pm, the Brockville Police Service responded to a report of a stabbing that had occurred in the area of Brock Street and Tunnel Avenue.

The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of his non-life-threatening injuries. The victim and the accused were known to each other.

The accused was held in custody to await a bail hearing.
