Merrickville – The Merrickville Classic Car Show is coming to Merrickville this Sunday, July 28th at the Merrickville Fairgrounds.
The show runs from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Classic cars, trucks, fire trucks, sports cars, race cars, customs, and rat rods will be shown during this one-day extravaganza.
There will be a BBQ by the Merrickville Fire Department, Amphicar demonstrations with Steve and Ozzy, Fabulous music by Merrickville’s Southbound band, a 50/50 draw in benefit of the Merrickville Food Cupboard, Half hourly draws for over $1600 in wonderful door prizes, including a $500 Gas Barbeque Grand Prize donated by the Merrickville – Wolford Chamber of Commerce and it’s members, Black and Decker Tool Set donated by Park View Homes
There will also be a “Thunder Alley” contest for the vehicle with the loudest pipes, Vendor spaces for manufacturers, vendors, swap meet entrepreneurs, and group parking for car clubs and friends is available upon request.
Please note – All activities at this event will occur at the Fairgrounds—NO show car parking at the canal or on Main Street.
General Admission for cool rides is only $10 a carload. Walk-up spectators are FREE.

10:00 am – Vendors open for business and visits
10:00 am – Rob Bassille’s Band start their music
11:00 am – Merrickville Fire Fighters start serving lunch
11:00 am – Paul Elias Pinstriping demonstrations
1:00 pm – “Thunder Alley” contest for the vehicle with the loudest pipes
2.30 pm – Come to the info booth for a 50/50 draw, grand prize draws
All Day:
Come to the info tent for door prize draws every 30 minutes
50/50 tickets sold to benefit the Merrickville Food Bank at the info booth, T-shirts and Dash Plaques and plenty of free Swag,
