6th annual “Empower the Children” Poker Ride Being Held This Sunday, July 28th

Brockville – Guardians of the Children International – Brockville Chapter is hosting its 6th annual “Empower the Children” Fundraising Poker Ride this Sunday, July 28th.

The start location is at the Mobile Gas (Formerly Mr. Gas) just north of Brockville and will travel through Brockville to Spencerville and then on to Chesterville ending in Iroquois at the Iroquois Legion/Ross Video parking lot.

Registration starts at 9:30 am and runs until 10:30 am, with kick stands up at 11:00 am sharp.

The cost to participate in the ride is $20 per rider and $10 per passenger.

Raffle tickets can be purchased from any of their members in advance or at the ride. The cost is $10 for 10 tickets and your tickets are good for all 4 draws (50/50 draw, BBQ, Copper pot set & Dehumidifier)

Poker Hands:

• 1st place $300
• 2nd place $200
• 3rd place $100

There will be food vendors including, Up in Smoke BBQ, Donnys Dogs, Mr. Mozzarella and Violet’s Vault. Kickstart Biker Gear will also be set up with merchandise for sale.

There will also be many silent auction items – too many to list but some include:

125 cc 4-wheeler
scuba diving lessons
gas cards
fireworks
