2024 Merrickville Fair Begins Today!

Merrickville – The 2024 Merrickville Fair hosted by the Merrickville Agricultural Society begins today, Friday, August 9th and runs until Sunday, August 11th at the Merrickville Fair Grounds.

The gates open at 9:00 am with the Children’s Horse Show. The opening ceremonies begin at 5:00 pm.

Some of the events this weekend will include, a Kids Zone, 4-H Inter County Sheep Show, Truck Pull, Jed the Bull, Canadian Horse Show, Touch A Truck, Horse Pull, Children’s Pedal Tractor Pull, a Petting Zoo and much more.

Entertainment over the weekend will see Maplehill Bluegrass from 5 pm to 7 pm and Buckledown from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm on Friday and Let Me Show You Talent Show and River City Junction on Saturday night.

Admission to the fair is $10 for ages 6 and up. Children 5 and under are free.

Gates open times are Friday – from 7 am to 10 pm, Saturday from 7 am to 10 pm, and Sunday from 7 am to 4 pm.
