Downtown Brockville’s The Dog Days of Summer Shop the Street Event This Saturday

Brockville – Downtown Brockville’s third Shop the Street event, The Dog Days of Summer is being held this Saturday, August 17th.

It runs from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM with King Street closed from Perth Street to Bethune Street.

This summer, bring your furry friends and join them for a paw-some day filled with shopping, entertainment, and tail-wagging fun.

There will also be FREE activities sponsored by the Downtown Brockville BIA including; Face painting by Gleeful Face Painting, Henna tattoos by Aesthetic Henna, a Workshop by Wild Little Roses, and a Workshop by Fun Art Paint Parties.

There will be a Colouring contest hosted by Fun Art Paint Parties, Prettiest Pooch – Stop by our booth in front of Shoppers Drug Mart and get a picture of your dog for a chance to win a $50 Downtown Brockville gift card.

Submit your receipt at the DBIA booth for a chance to win one of three $25 Downtown Brockville gift cards. Tunnel of Terror Dog Dress-Up Challenge – Dress up with your dog & get your picture taken for a chance to win a framed 18×24 print of your photo.

This family-friendly event is the perfect way to spend a summer day outdoors. Free admission for all!

There are also free bus rides city-wide on Brockville Transit for the day sponsored by the Downtown Brockville Merchants.
