Roebuck – The 27th annual Harvest Day Demonstrations is being held this Friday and Saturday, August 24th and 25th at the Antique Wheels in Motion property at 5877 Cty. Rd. 18 south of Roebuck.
It runs from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on both days featuring working demonstrations of early wheels of agriculture including antique tractors, threshing machines, hit-and-miss engines, horse-powered equipment, grinders, binders, plowing and more.
There will be a BBQ Chicken Dinner on Saturday with advance sales only by contacting Brent Christie at 613-802-0369. Tickets are $23 with pick-up starting at 4:00 pm.
Sunday morning is the Old Time Farmer’s Breakfast from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. The cost is $12.50 for adults and $6 for children 12 and under. Cash Only.
There will be entertainment on Sunday featuring Hillbilly Highway from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and a silent auction both days.
Antique Wheels in Motion is a non-profit club promoting the early wheels of agriculture in Eastern Ontario through shows and demonstrations.
