Brockville – The 44th Annual Terry Fox Run is being held this Sunday, September 15th in Brockville and around Leeds & Grenville.
In Brockville, the Terry Fox Run starts with registration at noon at Thousand Islands Secondary School (TISS) and begins at 1:00 p.m.
Brockville has been participating since 1981 with a total of $534,000 raised since then.
Once again participants will be led off around the track by local bagpiper Stewart Nimmo, then follow a five-kilometre route along Parkedale Avenue to the Brock Trail across from the police station, where they will head north to Laurier Boulevard, then west to Windsor Drive and back to TISS.
There will be a BBQ for participants hosted by the Brockville Kinsmen Club.
Last year the Brockville run raised more than $12,000, with close to 75 participants.

- Gananoque – Registration at 9 am – Event starts at 10 am at Gananoque Town Hall – 3 km loop
- Leeds & Thousand Islands – Registration at 8 am – Event Start 9 am at Rockport Recreation Hall 10 km
- Prescott – Registration at 10:30 am – event 11:00 am to 2 pm Kinsmen Club Amphitheatre – Edward St and Water St.
- Kemptville – Registration at 9 am – start time is 10 am at St. Michael Catholic High School track
- Delta – registration at 8 am – event 8 am to 2 pm. – Delta Fair Grounds
- Athens – Virtual Run
- Elgin – Virtual Run
