Athens – Jeremy Dayment of Newterra has donated $10,000 to the Maple View Landings Fundraising Campaign.
The donation gives Newterra naming rights to a dining room balcony in the new G. Tackaberry and Family Home scheduled to open in the Summer of 2025.
The home will have three floors with two neighbourhoods per floor. Each neighbourhood includes 32 resident rooms, a dining room, a dining balcony, a living room and a sunroom.
The Maple View Landings Fundraising Committee gave an update on Monday with the current total raised sitting at $2,154,259 before today’s donation announcement by Newterra. The fundraising goal is $3,000,000.
“A big thank you to everyone who has donated to the campaign thus far. The G. Tackaberry and Family Home will truly provide excellence in long-term care thanks to your support!” said the Maple View Landings Fundraising Committee.
