VIDEO: Braves Downed Renfrew 4-3 in Overtime Saturday

Renfrew – The Brockville Braves downed the Renfrew Wolves 4-3 in overtime on Saturday night in CCHL action in Renfrew.

The Braves’ Kellen Dostaler scored the only goal in the first period, and then he scored the winner with a little over a minute left in overtime and was named the first star of the game.

On the OT winner, when Harry hit Legostaev with a stretch pass at the Wolf’s blueline, Dostaler was just coming out of the Braves box. It was a great scoring attempt by Legostaev, then Harry jumped in and shuffled the puck over to Dostaler who went down on one knee and buried the puck.

In the second period, Kayden Buller picked up a goal for the Braves, while Alex Cote scored one in the third period.

Brockville will host the Carleton Place Canadians on Friday night at the Memorial Centre. Game time is 7:30 pm.
