Wolfe Island – The investigations into two separate home invasions, one in Kingston and the other on Wolfe Island, are now a joint operation involving the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Kingston Police.
On August 22, 2024, shortly after 4:00 a.m., Leeds County OPP officers responded to a home on Road 96 on Wolfe Island, where the residents reported that an unknown individual had assaulted them. The victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the incident.
On September 23, 2024, shortly before midnight, Kingston Police responded to a home invasion in the Frontenac Street and Brock Street area. Two individuals suffered serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
It is believed the incidents were targeted and may be connected. In each case, the attacker fled before police arrived. Extensive searches, including Canine Units, failed to locate a suspect.

Investigators also want to hear from anyone with a potentially relevant doorbell or dashcam video.
