Brockville – The City of Brockville announced on Wednesday that they will be replacing the existing overhead amber crossing lights at King Street West and Rivers Ave. with traffic signals starting October 10th.
“The City of Brockville is taking steps to improve safety on the Brock Trail. Beginning October 10, the City of Brockville is replacing the existing overhead flashing lights with traffic signals.”
The statement continued to say, “Now, when pedestrians press the button to cross the road it will trigger a red light for traffic in both directions on King Street West by River’s Avenue near St. Lawrence Park.”
