Athens – The Clay Studio Collective is excited to announce the 1-Year Anniversary of their community pottery studio in Athens, Ontario.
“We couldn’t have done it without the support of our amazing community, studio members, volunteers, students, and teachers,” says Executive Chairman, Donna Haycock. “We can’t wait to celebrate this achievement with everyone.”
The Clay Studio Collective officially opened its doors on November 5, 2023, by an enthusiastic group of ceramic artists; made possible by generous contributions from their members and the wider community after receiving equipment donations from St Lawrence College. They now have over 30 artist members working in the studio, and welcome dozens of weekly pottery students to learn with Krista Cameron Pottery.
All are welcome to attend their 1st Anniversary Party on Tuesday, November 5 from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm at their studio: 17 Church St, Lower Level, Athens, Ontario. They will be hosting fun events, such as Pottery Giveaways, DIY Clay Crafts and Refreshments, along with studio tours for the clay curious! Entry
is by donation in support of the Clay Studio Collective.
Full details are available on their website www.claystudiocollective.com/events.
