Brockville – The Kinsmen Club of Brockville is hosting its 36th annual Snowsuit Drive from Saturday, November 2nd to Saturday, November 30th – ‘Protection from the Cold’.

Please help by donating new/gently worn children’s snowsuits or monetary donations.

This week they posted an update on their Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/brockvillekinsmen) as they start setting up for this year’s snowsuit drive.

“We are a week away from the official start of our 36th Annual Snowsuit Campaign on Saturday, Nov 2nd to Nov 30th.

There is a lot of activity right now to prepare the inventory we have, and in the picture here, you can see the Girl’s room being set up. It looks like a lot, but it’s not. We are almost completely out of snow pants in sizes 7-14 for both Boys and Girls. The older kids wear them out quickly.

I’ll update you on other needs as this week progresses and we finish our set-up.

Some other important things to note:

If there are special group needs, such as school inventory or others, we can always arrange special distribution days/times/delivery. Just contact us to discuss. ***Nov*** is the time to get this set and ready to go.

Even though we have been at this for 36 years we know there are still many that go without a warm snowsuit for various reasons.

To help make this as easy as possible please remember that there is…

NO cost to you.
NO pre-registration needed.
NO paperwork needed when visiting us.
NO requirement of where you live.
NO need to bring your child/grandchild/etc., with you to pick up. If something does not fit at home, you can come back to try again.
NO questions asked other than what size(s) do you need to try on.

We have an abundance of hats, mitts, scarves and other accessories to also help keep all warm. We do have some winter boots, but these are always in limited supply.
