Maynard – The Township of Augusta hosted its 2nd Annual Volunteer Appreciation Evening on Thursday, October 24th at the Roebuck Community Centre a heartfelt celebration honouring the invaluable contributions of our volunteers.
The event was filled with networking, delicious food, and refreshing drinks.
This year’s gathering brought together volunteers, staff, and community leaders to recognize the hard work and dedication that our volunteers bring to the Township of Augusta.
Throughout the evening, guests were treated to an array of culinary delights and refreshments, fostering connections and camaraderie among attendees.
A special highlight of the evening was the presentation of commemorative coins awarded to all volunteers. These tokens of appreciation symbolize our gratitude for their unwavering commitment and the positive impact they have on our organization and the community at large.
“We are incredibly grateful for the dedication and passion our volunteers bring to our mission,” said Mayor Jeff Shaver. “This event is a small way for us to show our appreciation and celebrate the incredible work they do every day.”
The evening also provided opportunities for volunteers to share their experiences, reinforcing the importance of community involvement and the lasting relationships formed through our shared efforts.
The Township of Augusta looks forward to continuing its tradition of recognizing and supporting our volunteers, who are the backbone of our community. We invite everyone to join us in celebrating their commitment to making a difference in our community.
