Brockville – A local youth has been arrested and charged with three counts of uttering threats towards students and staff at Brockville Collegiate Institute.
Brockville Police said in a media release that on October 31st the police became aware of a youth who had made statements that were threatening the safety of other students and staff at Brockville Collegiate Institute.
Police investigated and confirmed that the threats of violence happened and ‘through the cooperation of everyone involved’, the youth was arrested and charged with three counts of uttering threats and held for a bail hearing.
“The safety of all attendees of our communities’ schools is a priority and will always be taken seriously.” said police.
