Kicking-Off the 2024 Holiday Season!
Brockville – Downtown Brockville is hosting ‘Miracle on King Street’ on Saturday, November 16th as a kick-off to the holiday season.
The event runs from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on King Street which will be closed to traffic for the day.
“King Street will be transformed into a festive wonderland filled with holiday cheer and excitement,” said Downtown Brockville.
There will be a Santa’s Village & Workshop with ornament making, letters to Santa, reindeer feeding, two petting zoos, a special appearance by Elsa, Christmas carols, horse-drawn sleigh rides, and live music by Eddy and the Stingrays.
You can warm up with hot chocolate or join in the Chili Competition.
It will also feature a Flannel Style Christmas Tree Farm, Ugly Sweater Decorating Contest, Gingerbread House-Making Competition, Floral Pop-up Shop, Capital Axe Throwing and create your own Holiday Centrepiece Arrangement – Free for the public to participate!
Brockville Transit buses will be free throughout the entire City of Brockville. Hop on board and head downtown without the hassle of parking.
There will be special sales from local businesses along with festive food trucks and restaurants filled with holiday cheer.
Miracle on King Street will also have a special screening of Netflix’s ‘Hot Frosty’ the movie that was partially filmed in Downtown Brockville this past spring.
After the event enjoy the Brockville Santa Claus Parade set to begin at 4:30 pm.
