They are still Looking for Volunteers For Next Week’s Parade!
Brockville – The 2024 Brockville Santa Claus Parade is set for Saturday, November 16th in Brockville starting at 4:30 pm.
There are new organizers this year, William and Kate McKinnon, the people behind the local entertainment event planning company Social Local, are the new organizers of the Santa Claus Parade.
They are still looking for volunteers for the Brockville Santa Claus Parade on November 16th, please contact them at info@brockvillesantaparade.ca
The parade route which has been planned in consultation with the City of Brockville will run south on North Augusta Road to King Street East, west on King to Buell Street. The walking groups in the parade will then be allowed to disperse to the sidewalks and watch the floats themselves (and the big guy in red) or continue in the parade: North on Buell Street and East on Pearl Street, past the Brockville General Hospital to return to the staging area).
They have 70 groups registered to march, dance, and float in this year’s Brockville Santa Claus Parade.
Thanks to their generous sponsors, the cost of the parade is largely covered, so any new proceeds will go to Do It For Aaron (The M.I.L.L.), KidsInclusive, and will help the new organizers build a bit of a budget for next year’s parade.
During the parade, they will be collecting non-perishables for the Brockville and Area Food Bank, and the Brockville Kinsmen will be accepting donations of snowsuits and winter outerwear for their snowsuit drive.
