Brockville – Here is another update from the Kinsmen Club of Brockville on its 2024 Snowsuit Campaign.
It’s hard to believe that we are ten days into November and over a week into our Snowsuit Campaign. Even though we’ve had some exceptionally warm weather the donations of new and gently worn snowsuits and other accessories have been coming in at a great pace.
We are all set for our first Snowsuit Distribution Day coming up next weekend on:
- DATE: Saturday, November 16th.
- TIME: 9:00 am to Noon, or as demand lasts.
- LOCATION: P&G Pavilion is located next to the skating rink on George Street in Brockville.
Signs will be placed on the street nearby to help direct people to the building.
Please contact us if you have larger orders needed and we will arrange for other dates and times to provide them, as needed (schools, etc.).
A big thanks to the Keystorm Pub for kicking off our campaign last Saturday and Amsted Design-Build for joining us to collect snowsuits. It was a lot of fun paired with some great music! The Brockville Fire Dept, Station #2 has also joined us as a new Drop Spot. Please visit Artfully Recycled on their Facebook page for some other great ways to support our campaign this year. Thanks for the support!
We have a good inventory of boys, girls and even some adult sizes ready to provide. There are plenty of hats, mitts, scarves, and an increasing number of snow boots. If we do not have a specific snowsuit size, you need on the 16th there will be plenty of time on our next two distribution days (see the poster) or we will purchase it for you before the drive ends.
No one needs to go without warm winter gear this year and to get all you need there is:
- NO cost to you.
- NO pre-registration is needed.
- NO paperwork is needed when visiting us.
- NO requirement of where you live.
- NO need to bring your child/grandchild/etc., with you to pick up. If something does not fit at home, you can come back to try again.
- NO questions asked other than what size(s) you need to try on.
Questions?
- See our poster first because it probably has the details you need (pinned to the top of this Facebook page).
- Message us on Facebook (the most popular way to reach us).
- Email us at brockvillekinsmen@gmail.com.
- Call 613 498 4255 (leave a detailed message if we need to call you back)
