Leeds County – Leeds County OPP responded to a collision and fire around 10:00 Wednesday morning on Hwy 401, east of the 1000 Islands Parkway off-ramp.
Police say the driver lost control of the eastbound pick-up, it crossed the median and westbound lanes and struck a tree before catching fire.
The lone occupant was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries said police.
The westbound lanes were closed until about 1:00 pm according to the OPP.
The OPP would like to remind motorists to please slow down and drive safely.
