City of Brockville: Know what to do during a postal disruption!

Brockville – The City of Brockville wants you to know what to do during the Canada Post disruption. The City asks that residents do not put payments and other time-sensitive documents directed to City Staff in the mail.

You are still responsible for paying bills, fines, and parking tickets on time, and you can pay online or in person at select locations.

To pay your parking tickets online please visit: https://my.brockville.com/ There is no need to create a login. It’s safe, easy and convenient.

Please ensure that you wait 24 hours after the ticket is issued to use this method of payment. To use this online service, you will need your parking ticket number starting with ‘M’ and the license plate number of the vehicle that received the ticket.

You can pay your water bill by:

  • Online through your financial institution
  • By cheque through the mail or in the Drop Box by the front doors of City Hall
  • Water bills may be paid by credit card over the phone
  • Email inquiries: water@brockville.com

You can also pay in person at City Hall:

  • City Hall, 1 King Street West, is open 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday
  • Pay using the after-hours or drop-off box. Drop-off and after-hours payments can only be made by cheque. Please do not use cash. You can drop off at City Hall, 1 King Street West, through the mailbox east of the front doors.

For Planning, building and licensing documents the city asks that you not mail applications, requests, time-sensitive material or Notices of Appeal for Official Plan Amendments, Zone changes, Draft Plans of Subdivision, or Committee of Adjustment applications. Please contact the staff person indicated on your application or notice by email to make arrangements.

Items can be dropped off at the customer service desk at 1 King Street West between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, or use the 24-hour drop box at the same location. Please do not place cash in this box.

If you need to give a letter or other non-bill correspondence to the City, please drop it off between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the municipal customer service counter.
