Westport – The South Grenville Junior Rangers won a 4-3 decision over the Westport Rideaus on Friday night in NCJHL action in Westport.
Scoring the four goals for South Grenville were, 18 Ty Chevrier (43 Noah Penney) in the first period, 18 Ty Chevrier, (43 Noah Penney) with his second goal of the game in the third period along with goals by 23 Gabriel Couture (4 Sam Turcotte) and 43 Noah Penney.
Westport’s three goals were by 19 Brock Seed (10 Liam Simpson, 5 Matthew Leaver) in the first period and 26 Noah Cyr and 16 Robert Onion (26 Noah Cyr) in the second period.
The Jr. Rangers will host the Almonte Inferno this Friday night starting at 7:30 pm at the Alaine Chartrand Community Centre.
The Westport Rideaus will host the Cumberland Castors on Friday night in Westport. Game time is 7:30 pm.
