Brockville – The YMCA of Eastern Ontario and Brockville Hyundai have teamed up this year to present ‘Toys for Joy’ a holiday initiative to provide gifts for children and youth in our community starting November 23rd.
It runs from November 23 until 12:00 PM, December 24.
“Last year this generous community came together and made a difference in so many houses to ensure everyone had something special under the tree Christmas morning,” said Brockville Hyundai.
You can donate new, unwrapped toys for newborns to 18 years old at Brockville Hyundai, 770 Stewart Blvd. in Brockville until December 23rd at noon.
They aim to reach as many families as possible, ensuring no child misses out on the magic of the season.
The Y will collaborate with all agencies such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Leeds and Grenville, The Salvation Army Brockville, United Way Leeds & Grenville, Leeds & Grenville Interval House, The Brockville and Area Food Bank, Family and Children’s Services of Lanark, Leeds and Grenville and families if not already working with an agency here in Brockville and area to ensure this Christmas once again is something special.
Special thanks to Brockville’s Bounce Radio and Brockville’s Move for your continued support to ensure this is a continued success.
As well, pictures with Santa at Brockville Hyundai begins this Saturday, November 23rd and are FREE, however, they will be glad to accept new unwrapped toys for “Toys for Joy” and of course, they will be collecting non-perishable food items to support the local food bank.
