VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS: Braves Lost Both Weekend Games in CCHL

Brockville – The Brockville Braves lost both of their CCHL games over the weekend.

On Friday they lost 5-2 to the Renfrew Wolves and on Sunday they lost a 6-3 decision to the Carleton Place Canadians.

In Friday night’s game at the Memorial Centre, the Braves got on the board first with a goal by Liam Harry with assists from Lumsden and Eccleston in the first period.

In the second, Renfrew would get on the board on a goal by Riley Streska (Cameron, Kurtiak) to tie the game at one a-piece at the end of the period.

Kayden Buller (McIntosh, Eccleston) would pick up the next goal for Brockville in the third period, but then the Wolves would go on to score four more to win the game.

Sunday’s game against the Canadians saw them get on the scoreboard first with two goals by Jackson Froysland (Allaby, Bouwer), and Grayson Pardy (SH PS) in the first period.

Brockville’s Ben Albright (Reid, Paluszak) would pick up the Braves’ first goal of the game in the first.

In the second period, Carleton Place would score one more on a goal from William Bouwer (Barton, Hatzitheodosiou) to lead 3-1 at the end of the second.

The Canadians would go on to score three more in the third, while the Braves would pick up only 2 more in the third on ga oal by Brandon Paluszak (Treppo, Albright) and Peter Legostaev on the powerplay.

Brockville will host the Rockland Nationals on Friday night at the Memorial Centre starting at 7:30 pm.
