Westport – The Westport Rideaus lost a 5-1 decision to the Cumberland Castors in National Capital Junior Hockey League action on Friday night in Westport.
Lukas Hannah scored the first goal for Westport shorthanded in the first period.
In the second period, Mathiew Brousseau (Alex Lemieux , Isaac Leduc) scored a goal for Cumberland to tie the game at 1-1 at the end of the second.
In the third period, Cumberland scored four more goals and won the game.
The Rideaus host the North Dundas Rockets Friday night at the WTC Communications Centre starting at 7:30 pm.
