
Brockville – The City of Brockville is upgrading two existing transit shelters for Brockville Transit and adding a new Payment Terminal Shelter for the Brockville Airport.
In an announcement issued on Friday, the city said that the two projects were approved as part of the 2024 capital budget and will enhance the community’s transit experience and help people flying into the airport to have some shelter when re-fueling/paying said the city.
Next week the new shelter at the airport and the two new transit shelters will be built by J.S. Simpson Welding & Fabrication, who won the bid to build and install these new shelters, which will be supplied by Daytech.
The two transit Shelters being replaced:
1. Dollarama @ Superstore
2. Kensington @ Laurier
