Brockville – On December 2, 2024, at about 7:15 am, police received a 911 call regarding a domestic-related dispute, at a residence on Central Ave.
Police arrived and an investigation revealed that a male and female couple had been engaged in an argument. During that time, the female was attempting
to remove the male from the residence.
The argument escalated and as a result, the 31-year-old, male shoved the female causing her to fall to the ground. The female received minor, non-life-threatening, injuries.
After speaking to all involved, the 31-year-old, male was arrested and charged with assault and failing to comply with probation. It was found that he was on probation with a condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. He was released on conditions with a future court date.
