Merrickville – The annual Christmas in Merrickville is happening this Saturday, December 7th in the village.
The celebration of Christmas includes family-friendly events, extended downtown shopping hours, and a craft market.
It starts out with Breakfast with Santa from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, with a reindeer visit from 8:00 am to noon, a Cookie Walk, Horse Drawn Wagon Rides, Children’s Games, and more.
There will also be fire barrels with hot dogs & marshmallows, street entertainers, a Selfie Photo Area, a silent auction, an Ice Princess Meet & Greet and an artisan market.
The annual Merrickville Santa Claus Parade starts at 11:00 am and a tree lighting at 6:30 pm.
