Brockville – A Winter Weather Travel Advisory is in effect for Brockville, Prescott, Mallorytown, Gananoque, Charleston Lake, Westport, Merrickville, and Kemptville along with Smiths Falls, Kingston and Morrisburg for this evening into Sunday morning.
Environment Canada says snow will progress southeastward through the evening before tapering off from west to east Sunday morning. Total accumulations of 10 to 15 cm are expected.
Poor weather conditions may contribute to transportation delays. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
Be prepared to adjust your driving to changing road conditions.
For road conditions and other traveller information from the Ministry of Transportation, visit ontario.ca/511, twitter.com/511Ontario, or call 5-1-1.
Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to ONstorm@ec.gc.ca or tweet reports using #ONStorm.
