Ottawa – If there was some definitive correlation from posts dinged to goals it might have been a much different ending to the Braves game Saturday night in Ottawa as they were blanked 2-0 by the Jr. Sens. Coulda, shoulda, woulda!
A very tight game for 56 minutes with the Braves holding the edge. Then, as forecast by Mason Detre in his PxP, a miscue and it’s game over. The traditional empty netter added insult to injury.
Ottawa PxP stalwart, Mason Detre, did a nice job between periods highlighting the Braves AP callups, Nate Curson and Volodymyr Karpachov, both 17-year-olds playing in the EOJHL. Well worth the listen to get the scoop on these two potential Braves.
It is the battle of 29 this Friday as Brockville will host the Smiths Has Bears at the Memorial Centre starting at 7:30 pm.
