Leeds OPP Investigating Single Vehicle Rollover on Highway 15 Sunday

Driver Transported to Hospital with Serious Injuries!

Elgin – The Leeds County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continues to investigate a single-vehicle rollover where the driver was transported to hospital for serious injuries.

OPP say on Sunday, December 15, 2024, just after 9:00 a.m., members of the Leeds OPP received reports of a vehicle in the ditch on Highway 15, just south of Bush Road.

The 63-year-old driver from Carleton Place was transported to hospital, and the passenger, a 26-year-old from Carleton Place, was assessed on-scene for minor injuries.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation. The OPP Collision Reconstructionist and the Technical Traffic Collision Investigators assisted Leeds OPP.

Highway 15 was closed between Bush Road and Jones Falls Road and was re-opened a few hours later.
