Brockville – On January 17, 2025, at about midnight, Brockville Police received a call in the area of Stewart Blvd. and Parkedale Ave., regarding a male and female who had been in a dispute.
Officers responded to the area and located a 26-year-old, female, who was reporting the incident.
Investigation revealed that the female and her boyfriend, were on their way home to the Elgin area, after a night out. Along the way, they had engaged in an argument. The female subject disclosed that she struck the male three times in the face and then was dropped off in the area of Stewart Blvd. and Parkedale Ave.
The male did drive home where police spoke with him and confirmed he had been assaulted. The female subject was arrested and charged with assault and failing to comply with her probation. She was held in custody for a bail hearing.
