Brockville – A 40-year-old man was arrested by Brockville Police on January 20th after multiple 911 calls of the man jumping in front of vehicles and attempting to make them stop.
Police say around 3:00 pm on this date a 911 call was received indicating that the man was causing a disturbance in the area of Pearl St. W. at William St. Information was that the male was jumping in front of vehicles attempting to make them stop.
He was also shouting about going to jail and people that are causing harm to him and others. He was screaming and erratic.
Police officers arrived on the scene and confronted the subject who continued to shout in a non-sensical manner. The subject was placed under arrest for the disturbance.
The police learned that the subject was currently sentenced to three different probation orders.
The man was held in custody for a bail hearing for the offences of causing a disturbance and three counts of failing to comply with probation.
