Athens – The Athens Aeros lost a 9-1 decision to the Richmond Royals in EOJHL action on Saturday night at Centre 76 in Athens.

Scoring the lone Athens goal was Drew Blevins with an assist from Gavin Clarke in the second period.

The Aeros were outshot 40 to 26 by the Royals during the game.

Athens is in Smiths Falls this Thursday night to face the Junior Bears. Game time is 8:15 pm.
