Brockville – Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement for Brockville & Leeds-Grenville as a highly impactful winter storm is possible this Wednesday evening into Thursday.
Significant amounts of snow are possible late Wednesday into Thursday across a large portion of southern Ontario due to a strong low-pressure system. At this point, the path of the low pressure system is still uncertain which will affect exact snowfall amounts. Total snowfall amounts of 20 to 40 cm with poor visibility in heavy snow and local blowing snow.
Hazardous travel conditions are likely. Motorists are urged to consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.
