Brockville – We don’t know what message was delivered in the dressing room but boy oh boy did the Brockville Bunch come thru with a big win 4 – 2 over Robinson Division leaders, Carleton Place Canadians on Friday night in the CCHL.
It was a very tight game throughout as the team swapped goals over the first two periods. It was Allanby for the CPC then Albright for the Braves. In the second it was Froysland for CPC then rookie sensation Grady Spicer from the point.
Charlie Hustle, aka Alex Cote, interrupted the pattern by firing the winner from McNally & Lumsden. Some nice moves by McNally again allowed him to seal the deal with an empty netter, with apples going to Treppo and Albright.
Trey Caracciolo regained his early season form and he closed, no slammed, the door on the Canadians. Even back in training camp Coach Traylen sang the praises of Ben Albright and Ben had probably his best game of the year last night.
Ace videographer Phil Brennan, once again did yeoman service as he recorded the game in HD and published these highlights.
