Notice of Snow Removal Operations in the City of Brockville

Brockville – The City of Brockville is giving notice for Snow Removal operations from Pearl Street to the river between Perth Street and North Augusta Road.

Public Works Staff will conduct overnight snow removal every night from 11 pm to 7 am until work is complete. Snow removal will have a rectangle zone from Pearl Street to the river between Perth Street and North Augusta Avenue.

A friendly reminder: no overnight street parking until April 1st, 2025.

City Public Works staff have been performing winter operations around the clock to plow the City roads and sidewalks in accordance with the City Winter Maintenance Policy.

Snow removal operations require the large-scale coordination of heavy equipment and contractors which is very costly to the City. Cars parked on the road present a difficult and potentially dangerous obstacle to snow removal equipment and operators.

As such, please comply with the City winter parking bylaw that prohibits parking on streets after 11 PM. To ensure efficient and continuous snow removal operations, any cars parked on the road that violate the winter parking restrictions will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.
