Brockville – Two police reports from the Brockville Police Service from February 20th & 21st, 2025.
Family Dispute Leads to Arrest:
On February 20, 2025, at about 10:30 pm, police received a 911 call to attend a residence on William St. Information was that the complainant was stating that her 43-year-old, son, was causing damage at the residence.
Investigation revealed that the 43-year-old, male was at the residence and in a dispute with his mother. He struck her in the face and shoved her to the ground before smashing out a window to the residence. The victim suffered minor, non-life-threatening injuries.
The male was arrested by police and released with a future court date for the offences of assault, mischief under $5,000.00 and failure to comply with probation.
Intimate Partner Violence:
On February 21, 2025, at about 12:30 am, police received a 911 call regarding a domestic dispute. Officers attended a residence and located the couple involved.
Investigation revealed that a male and his 38-year-old, girlfriend, were arguing when it became physical. It was discovered that she struck him in the head and was pinning him down. The victim suffered minor, non-life-threatening injuries.
The female subject was arrested and charged with assault and released on conditions with a future court date.
