Westport – The Westport Rideaus lead their NCJHL playoff series with the Morrisburg Lions 3 games to none after winning a 6-4 decision over the Lions Friday night in Westport.
Scoring the six Westport goals were, 25 Chad Carroll (23 Rylan Boyer), 5 Matthew Leaver (6 Josh Price) and 25 Chad Carroll (19 Brock Seed, 5 Matthew Leaver) in the first period. 12 Eric Judson (21 Thomas McLean, 18 Ben Peladeau) in the second period and 25 Chad Carroll (11 Jack Leonard, 16 Robert Onion) and 26 Noah Cyr (5 Matthew Leaver, 4 Avery MacCuaig) in the third period.
Game 4 is set for tonight back in Morrisburg. If the Rideaus win tonight they will take the series and advance.
Tonight’s game 4 is set to begin at 7:30 pm at the Morrisburg Arena.
