Brockville – Police reports from the Brockville ce Service from February 23rd to 24th, 2025.
Intimate Partner Violence:
On February 23, 2025, at about 9:00pm, police received a 911 call from a female advising she had been locked out of her apartment on Perth St. Officers arrived and the female advised that she has been dating her 26-year-old, boyfriend from Belleville.
The couple had been dating for about a week and a half. He was there visiting for the night when they engaged in an argument over the female’s young child. While she attempted to diffuse the situation, the male subject actually struck her in the face. When she tried to call for help, the subject smashed her phone and computer.
The subject was placed under arrest and charged with mischief under $5,000 and assault. He was held in custody for a bail hearing. The victim suffered minor, non-life-threatening injuries.
Indecent Act:
On February 24, 2025, at about 5:00pm, police received a call regarding a male who was exposed in the female washroom, at the Parkedale Ave. Tim Horton’s. Information was that a female employee attended to the public washroom and located a 33-year-old, male who was naked and had caused a mess by throwing toilet paper everywhere. He refused to leave when staff asked him to do so.
Officer’s arrived and located the subject. It was learned that he had recently been placed on his fourth probation order with conditions. He was arrested and taken to the Brockville Police Service where he was held in custody for a bail hearing. During his custody, he was attempting self-harm and officers had to intervene to prevent the harm. He was charged with an indecent act in a public place and four counts of fail to comply with probation.
Communication Condition Breach in Relation to Intimate Partner Violence:
On February 24, 2025, at about 5:00pm, police received information from a victim, that her 39-year-old, ex-boyfriend has been attempting to communicate with her. The male subject was on two different probation orders with conditions to abstain from communicating with the female, as a result of previous domestic violence incidents.
Investigation revealed that multiple messages and photos had been sent to the victim by the subject. The evidence was collected and the male was located and arrested in the area of Park St. on February 25, 2025, at about 6:30pm. He was held in custody for a bail hearing for the offences of two counts of fail to comply with probation.
