Brockville – In perhaps their best all-around performance of the year, the Brockville Braves steamrolled over the Hawkesbury Hawks on Friday night by the score of 5 – 1.
The huge win by the Braves allowed them to inch closer to a playoff spot as we are deep in the twilight of the 2024-25 season.
All sorts of permutations and combinations will decide the final standings and playoff matchups. For the Braves it is simple, just keep on winning. Friday night was three in a row.
It would be unfair for me to single out any individual player from Friday night. It was a solid team effort.
The Braves have 6 more games in the regular season. This Friday they will host the Renfrew Wolves at the Memorial Centre. Game time is 7:30 pm.
