Athens Aeros Lost After Double Overtime 5-4 to Richmond in Game 4 of EOJHL Playoff Series

Athens – The Athens Aeros lost game 4 narrowly after double overtime 5-4 to the Richmond Royals on Saturday night in the EOJHL Richardson Division best-of-seven semi-final series.

The Royals now lead the series 3-1. Game 5 is a must-win for Athens if they want to stay alive.

“Athen’s Goalie Dustin Riff stood tall with an unbelievable 80 saves on 85 shots on goal, facing a staggering 130% more shots than the Richmond Royals’ total of 37 in a jaw-dropping display of resilience.” said the Athens Aeros.
