Eight More Being Inducted This Year to Brockville & Area Music & Performing Arts Hall of Fame

Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Set for Thursday, March 27th at the Brockville Arts Centre!

Brockville – The annual Brockville & Area Music Hall of Fame will be inducting eight new members on Thursday, March 27th at the Brockville Arts Centre.

Those being inducted this year are:

• The Lions Steel Drum Band
• Bill Leroux
• Neil Mathieson
• Sherri Wood

There are four that will be inducted posthumously:

• Ken Ehland,
• Mary Fuller
• Tom Hooker
• Allan Waite

The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will start with the Red Carpet Show at 6:30 pm followed by the Induction Ceremony starting at 7:00 pm.

The show will be broadcast live on Your TV Channel 10 and is sponsored by Pricedex Software – proud supporters of the Performing Arts and the quality of life in the Greater Brockville Area.

The Brockville and Area Music and Performing Arts Hall of Fame has been honouring local artists and their contribution to local entertainment since 2006.

Each year, near the end of March, they gather at the Brockville Arts Centre to recognize new members and welcome them into the Hall of Fame in the following categories: Teacher, Musician, Actor/Actress/Performer, Professional, Production/Behind the Scenes and Band/Performing Group.

They also honour posthumously individuals who are no longer with us, but who significantly contributed to the arts in Brockville and the area.
