Brockville Radio Stations Officially Change Ownership

Brockville – The city’s two radio stations, Bounce 103.7 and MOVE 104.9, which were owned by Bell, have officially changed ownership to My Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) out of Renfrew.

The stations in Brockville are now 104.9 MYFM and 103.7 Giant FM, classic rock and switched over Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) approved MBC’s acquisition of four radio stations from Bell Media in Eastern Ontario. The stations involved the two Brockville stations, as well as CFLY-FM and CKLC-FM in Kingston, in February of this year.

“MY BROADCASTING CORPORATION has officially purchased MOVE 104.9 and BOUNCE 103.7! While Bell Media is keeping those station names, this gives us a chance to build something fresh, something local, and something that truly reflects what you want to hear. The best part? The amazing Brockville team you know and love is staying with us! Not only that, but we’re hiring even more people to help us serve the community and strengthen our local newsroom,” said Jon Pole, President, My Broadcasting Corporation

“Plus, we’re expanding our news coverage online—so you can now read daily local news anytime at brockvilledaily.ca. We have big things coming, and we want you to be part of it.
