Brockville – A Freezing Rain warning continues for Brockville and Leeds & Grenville regions for tonight into Thursday morning.
Freezing rain with ice accretion of 2 to 5 mm on some surfaces.
This freezing rain event will not be nearly as significant as the ice storm from this past weekend.
Snow and ice pellets will advance northeastward this afternoon before transitioning to freezing rain tonight. Prior to the transition to freezing rain, snowfall amounts up to 5 cm may occur over some locations. Easterly winds gusting to near 50 km/h may exacerbate any tree damage.

Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas.
As temperatures rise above the freezing mark, freezing rain will transition to rain overnight into early Thursday morning.
Rain, heavy at times, is possible. The ground, already near saturation, has little ability to absorb further rainfall. Total rainfall amounts of 15 to 25 mm. This evening through Thursday morning.
A wintry mix of precipitation will transition to rain through tonight as temperatures rise above the freezing mark. Rain will end from west to east Thursday morning.
Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
