Brockville – St. Lawrence College’s production of Seussical the Musical is running from Friday, April 11th to Sunday, April 13th, at the Brockville Arts Centre.
Seussical the Musical is a high-energy, music-filled, family-friendly production featuring some of your favourite Dr. Seuss characters! This production is sure to delight audiences of all ages!
“The second and third-year students have been working feverishly—and joyfully! — on their upcoming production of Seussical the Musical. This funny, zany, heartfelt musical is an excellent showcase for the many spectacular talents of the Music Theatre – Performance students and will be fun for the whole family!” said Kyle Golemba, Professor and Music Theatre Placement Liaison at SLC.
The Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust containing Whos. Horton faces a double challenge–not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must guard an abandoned egg left in his care. Although Horton faces ridicule and danger, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family, and community are challenged and emerge triumphant.
