
Brockville – The Brockville Multicultural Festival is back after a five-year hiatus. The 39th annual festival will be held on Friday, May 9th and Saturday, May 10th at the Brockville Memorial Centre.
The last festival was held in 2019, then COVID hit, and it was cancelled for two years, and it took a while for volunteer organizers to get back up and running again. The Council presented the annual Brockville Multicultural Festival for 38 years, from 1981 to 2019
Come out and experience a variety of cultural foods, entertainment, educational booths and crafts, dance and performances from around the world and fun for the whole family.
Organized by the Brockville & District Multicultural Council, which is an organization of cultural groups and individuals who aim to work towards a society that ensures and enjoys the viability of a strong Canadian identity firmly grounded in the multicultural nature of the population.
The festival runs on Friday, May 9th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and again on Saturday, May 10th from Noon until 9:00 pm at the Memorial Centre.
Tickets are $5, and Children 12 & under are free. Tickets, cash are only available at the door.
