Brockville – The Brockville Girls Hockey Association U18 Competitive team won the Gold Medal at the 2025 OWHA Provincials Tournament this past weekend in the GTA.
“In a thrilling and tightly fought game, both teams showcased their incredible talent and determination. The match was a nail-biter from start to finish, with both sides giving it their all. After three intense periods, the score was tied 3-3, forcing the game into overtime. The tension was palpable, and the excitement was through the roof!” said the Angels organization on their Facebook page.
“But our girls never gave up! With heart, grit, and unwavering determination, they fought hard through every second of the entire game. Their teamwork and perseverance shone brightly, and they managed to score the winning goal, ending the game as CHAMPIONS!” they continued.
The U18 Competitive team has ended their season as Provincial champions.
“This victory is a testament to the dedication, hard work, and spirit of the Brockville Angels. Each player contributed to this incredible achievement, and their commitment to the game and each other was truly inspiring. We are immensely proud of our team and their outstanding performance,” said the Angels organization.
