The committee always seeks the community’s input on nominations for the five categories.

The coach and volunteer awards are given to people who have dedicated a lot of their lives to helping athletes, teams or organizations.

Sports teams and sportspersons of the year are honoured for accomplishments between May 1, 2024, and May 1, 2025.

Possible Sports Hall of Fame inductees are honoured for a lifetime of accomplishments and achievements, whether pro or amateur, whether it is for athletic prowess or for giving of their time to enable teams and athletes to succeed.

The 31st annual Kinsmen Sports Hall of Fame dinner is being held on Thursday, June 12th, and the induction ceremony is being held on Friday, June 13th at the Brockville Memorial Centre.

The dinner will honour the coach of the year, volunteer of the year, sports team of the year and sportsperson of the year. The induction ceremony will induct five new individuals into the Sports Hall of Fame to join the 160 who are already there.
