Every day, individuals make an extraordinary difference through volunteering!
Brockville – As National Volunteer Week 2025 approaches, the City of Brockville extends heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers who have generously given their time and energy to enhance our community and recognize their vital role in building a strong, inclusive, and vibrant city.
From April 27 to May 3, and throughout the entire year, we celebrate the incredible contributions of our volunteers and invite others to join our dynamic and welcoming volunteer groups.
City volunteers give their time in many ways:
Members who serve on boards or provide valuable services to facilities such as the Arenas, Brockville Arts Centre, Museum and Public Library. To learn more about volunteering, visit https://brockville.com/volunteer
- Members who lend their knowledge and experience to city boards and committees.
- Environmental and beautification enthusiasts who clean up our green spaces, like the volunteers of the Brockville Community-wide Cleanup https://brockvillecleanup.ca
- Volunteers who lend their time to specific events and festivals such as the Tall Ships Festival https://tallshipsbrockville.com
“The dedication of our volunteers makes a lasting difference throughout the year,” says Mayor Matt Wren. “To everyone who shares their time, energy, and heart to help make Brockville a better place – thank you!”
All City volunteers make a difference! By sharing our time, talents, kindness, and creativity, we help strengthen and enrich our greater area. Supporting one another and working together enhances the quality of life for all, making Brockville a more vibrant and connected city.
